Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Inductions

Every student entering the Bachelor of Architectural Design, Bachelor of Design, Master of Architecture and Master or Urban Design and Development programs are required to complete two OHS inductions:

  1. building induction
  2. fieldwork safety

You can access these inductions via https://student.eait.uq.edu.au/safe/. If you have any difficulties accessing the modules please contact the School.

Workshop Induction

All students are required to complete general inductions to the workshop as well as completing machine-specific inductions and competency assessments. Completion of workshop competency assessments is a once off occurrence for the duration of your enrolment and/or employment in the School of Architecture programs.

Steel-capped safety shoes will be required for most inductions and these will need to be purchased by students. Other personal protection equipment will be provided by the Faculty Workshop Group and School of Architecture.
